Carlos Alcaraz claimed his second consecutive Wimbledon title by defeating Novak Djokovic in straight sets (6-2, 6-2, 7-6). The 21-year-old Spaniard becomes the youngest player ever to win four Grand Slams. Djokovic, the all-time Grand Slam leader, faced a tougher match having recently undergone knee surgery.

The match was attended by Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, who presented the championship trophy to Alcaraz. Both Djokovic and Alcaraz are set to compete in the upcoming Summer Olympics, and could therefore meet again soon in Paris.
