21-year-old Spanish phenom, Carlos Alcaraz, is the champion of this year’s French Open. The victory secured his place as the youngest man ever to win Grand Slam titles on all three surfaces – grass (2023 Wimbledon), hard court (2022 US Open), and now clay. He clinched the victory over Alexander Zverev in a grueling five-set, four-hour match with scores of 6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2.
Reflecting on his victory after the match, Alcaraz expressed his honor in joining the ranks of other Spaniards who have won at Roland Garros. The greatest among them, Rafael Nadal, extended his congratulations to Alcaraz and praised his remarkable performance and historic achievement.
The runner-up, Alexander Zverev, faced his second Grand Slam final loss, acknowledging Alcaraz’s superior play in the crucial last sets.
